Sad sale of a much-loved family pet but Mohawk needs a job! He is sold as a project as he has been out of work due to no fault of his own.

Sent away to be backed in 2022 but unfortunately lost his rider shortly after due to a non-horse related accident to his elderly owner.

Mohawk is 16 years old with very low mileage, no lumps or bumps and never jumped. He is very flashy with a lovely floaty movement. Barefoot, good with farrier and up to date with dentist and all routine health check, very sound. He has seen traffic without problem however, he has not been rode for 9-12 months hence selling as a project to be brought back into work.

Mohawk was gelded very late at 12 years as his stud was downsizing, he has since been out with geldings and also a mixed herd but can become anxious when his field buddies are being taken out so would benefit with his own space but not necessary (will discuss). Comes to call at the gate and can be in his field or stable next to both geldings and mares without issue.

He will form a fantastic relationship with his owner once he knows who is in charge and responds to kind and gentle people. He is very cheeky and will search all your pockets for his treats, very spoilt and loving young man.

5* home wanted – will be sold with full wardrobe as owner is retiring. No immediate rush as home is more important, no dealers or L.W.V.T.B.
